The course allows good time for practice issues to be aired and participants are encouraged to bring case examples and concerns from their own work, which can be discussed alongside case studies and exercises prepared for the course. 

 

Suitable for:

The course is suitable for advisers, policy makers and housing providers who need to know about the practical consequences of legislative and procedural change.  This course is designed for people with some experience in housing, and so a good basic knowledge of the framework of housing provision (such as homelessness and housing allocation) is assumed.
